My dad will bend over backward to help anyone who needs it, be it family, friend, stranger or foe, if they need help he'll always be the first one there to offer it. When I was young he was the chief of the local fire department and saved lives everyday and I always looked up to him with pride. He then became the safety officer at our pulp and paper mill where he kept everyone safe and made sure they all returned home to their families at the end of the day. He is also very involved with the Lions Club where he helps raise money to help people who are suffering from blindness. He has devoted his life to helping others and I can only hope that when I'm his age that people look up to me the way I look up to him. You make me proud dad..
