We have had many serious illness's in our immediate family. My husband drives me to most all my appointments in Edmonton to the U of A to my specialists appointment of which there has been many in the past year and a half. Our truck recently broke down so my sister stepped in as we don't have a reliable vehicle to get back and forth to Edmonton, which we are very grateful for for the time being. My dad who celebrates his 83rd BDay needs to go up and down the highway now with us now to see his cardiologists at the U of A, as he recently underwent a quadruple bypass surgery two weeks ago and I am happy to say he is doing famously!!! What an amazing Fathers Day gift to us all!!! But a new truck to take me and my Dad back and forth to the specialists would be a huge load off of my sister. With me being off work for a year and a half now on disability has hit us hard and have not been able to get the money or financing together to purchase a reliable vehicle to get us up and down the highway to Edmonton to make all these specialist appointments. Having a new truck to for my husband and I to take my Father with us to Edmonton for specialists appointments would be the best Fathers Day gifts for the two most important men in my life!!
