This is my dad Linc, he actually not my real dad at all. him and my Aunt adopted my sister and brother and i 10 years ago. he saved us from a very abusive home with our real parents! we 3 have been diagnosed with FAS which has impacted his and his wifes and his 3 childrens lives tremendously! there has been traumas due to our past and he has still accepted us. he has shown us what a real father is and how it feels to have one. the first time i ever realized that he truly loved me for me was when i was 12 years old and he was going to work, he came into my room and kissed me on the forehead and told me he loved me before he went to work, i cried because i didnt know what to do and i was so happy! at 18 i came back home pregnant and after my daughter was born my dad stepped up to the plate and has treated her like his own. so he has fathered and is still fathering 7 children half that is not his own... but is at the same time! myself put my father through hell, running away and having him chase me across the city, causing him worry, he also took me to work and gave me the best experience of what hard work is and i love it to this day! he has had to change jobs in order to take care of himself physically but also to be there for all his children and his wife. i wanted to nominate my dad because he has sacrificed so much for his family and yet to have his own new truck hes always wanted! hes a great man and i love him! i wouldnt change my life if it meant i didnt get have him!!!
