my dad hasn't always been my dad. He became my dad when I was two years old. He became my best friend right away. As long as I have known him he has always been a hard worker. He was a construction worker for a very long time and worked in all weather. Things became really tough for us so we decided to move from Ontario to be with our papa in fort mcmurray. In that time, we went through so much. My papa was in a really bad accident which left him mentally and physically disabled. My dad has been working really hard and been taking care of seven people for the last year. He deserves more than we could ever give him! I know I haven't been an easy kid with being dyslexic, ADHD, and suffering from a form of juvenile bipolar disorder but he loves me no matter what! He spent all of his money last summer on a truck for us that is now falling apart. He deserves something new and some he can be proud of! I am so proud to call him my dad and I'm glad he and my mom met. He is the man I will want to become when I am grown up. He may not be my father, but he will always be my dad!! Thanks Connor
