This is for you, dad!
I wouldn't even try to say that I have the most dependable dad in the world. I'd let you be the judge.... Growing up, my dad has always been the breadwinner of the family. He provides for all of his 5 kids and treats us all equally. My dad is not the type who expresses his love for us by saying "I love you". He shows his love and affection by working hard and being there for us all the time. A couple years ago, we moved to Canada. It was hard to adjust to the new culture and this new home for me and my family. We missed all our friends and relatives back home. But not once did I see my dad break down or lose hope. He stood strong for us. He was our rock and we all depended on him. He has supported all of our dreams and provided what we need for school. When my mom wouldn't let us go on trips for school or go out with friends, my dad will always come to the rescue. He believes that these are all part of growing up and learning. He wants us to explore and see the world. He also believes that we should follow what our hearts desire. My dad is a very smart, hardworking and down-to-earth man. Whenever there's a celebration, like his birthday or Father's Day, he never asks for material things. But I really do believe that he deserves to be rewarded for all the things he's done for us. This picture was taken a week ago on my graduation day. For now, my degree is all that I can offer him, but I know that he is proud and genuinely happy with it.
