My dad is an extremely hard worker, and when I was younger he had to work away from home to provide for his family. He works in construction and at the time Alberta is where the work happened to be. So for my 16th birthday I was extremely upset that he would not be able to attended my birthday party. So he decided to work all night, which at the time was a 16 hour shift, then drive from Calgary where he was working back to Saskatoon to be home in time for my birthday. Once it was over he slept for a bit then had to drive back to Calgary. But I will never forget the commitment he had to proved and be their for all his kids and family. He is always willing to sacrifice anything to provide and be here for his family. He is an absolutely father to me and my brother.
