Few Things You Can Depend On Today
There are few things you can depend on today. A person’s actions speaks louder than words. My father will be celebrating his 70th birthday just before Father’s Day. What do you get a man for father’s day/birthday that has been there for you to help you pick your first car, to being there on your wedding day, to help you move your new washing machine? Growing up he did what was needed to support his family which meant being away for long stretches at a time. He taught me how to ride a horse and carried me through the pasture when I was 8 and fell off and broke my arm. He got me back on the horse when I better. Now that my sister and I are grown and have families his grandkids are spoiled (ok, well loved) as they have him wrapped around their little fingers. He volunteers his time and horses with the disabled even designing and building a special cart for those unable to leave their wheelchairs so they can enjoy being around horses. He plows the snow in the church parking lot behind their house so the ladies don’t slip going to church. He has taught me about being a good person and to help those that need help. He taught me the value of doing a good job. He wouldn’t take credit for doing these things as it’s just the man he is. Not only is he always dependable for his family but also for so many others. He is the first person to offer help but also the last to ask for it.

donna_norndon Gary is truly an amazing person. He can make anyone laugh. He is truly a selfless person. He has a big heart.Everyone loves him. I'm grateful to call him my friend.
Sachiasproule Gary is a most amazing person who if I needed, he would give me the shirt off his back. He's amazing with people and animals. He makes me laugh. Even more than that, he helps me see what an amazing person my daughter is, especially when I'm frustrated with her. He also encourages me to be me and to love me. He does this just by accepting everyone for who they are and by making them laugh. I'm grateful to have Gary in my corner, always rooting for us! He is an amazing man! I'm grateful for him.
