I would like to nominate my husband as the 2015 Dependable Dad. There are many reasons why I think he deserves this for father's day. He became a father at the young age of 16, and has never once gave up his role for selfish needs. When I met him he was a father of 2 sons and I was a mother of 2 sons, then boom we found out we were having twins. We instantly went from 2 to 4 to 6, then our family had 2 other additions as the years progressed. He has given up many things to make sure our family has always been taken care of. We have overcame many obstacles, but he has always been my biggest supporter. He worked for numerous years while I stayed home to raise the children. Now as my studies progress he has taken on being a part-time student as well as taking care of our 2 youngest daughters, and our nephew. He is a great role model to our 5 sons,3 daughters, 2 nieces, and 1 nephew he teaches them valuable life skills from hunting to gathering and basically being able to live off the land. Most importantly David is what makes our family complete. Everyday is a challenge with 11 children living in the household, our 8 plus my sister's 3. He always makes sure laundry is done and the kids have supper when I'm exhausted from a long day, or just to show the kids the true roles of having an equal partnership. He is the funniest, kindest, most gentle, yet stern man I know. I never knew a man like David could exist. He is patient and even so much more. He is really one of a kind.
