We cannot express in words the appreciation that we have for our dad, his name is Jason. We live in Alberta and he works in the oilfield which means he sacrifices a lot so that we can have the life we do. Nothing has ever come easily for us, the struggles are continuous. When there is work, there is usually a lot of work and we don't see much of our dad. When there isn't work for him means there is no income but we see more of him. There is never a comfortable middle ground where he can feel content. We feel that our dad deserves to win this truck. He has never had anything given to him or relied on anyone for anything. He leaves before we wake up and gets home a lot of the time after we're already in bed leaving him only a few hours at home to eat, shower, sleep and do it all over again. We sometimes forget to give him the recognition that he deserves. There are three of us girls and he does his best to fit in activities with us such as camping, fishing, biking, skiing and watching our school and after school activities. We feel as though this truck would be the break our dad needs to show him that we do realize all that he does and continues to do for all of us. Somehow he always makes sure we have all that we need and want. He is there for us in so many ways, always selflessly giving himself to not not only ourselves but other family as well. Although this truck is a pricey item, it would only be a small token compared to debt we are in for the ways he gives to us. XOXO
